15:00-16:00 brand new series.7/20.Masterpiece with Alan Tichmarsh.(Series 2).The brainchild of the renowned gardener, Masterpiece is a unique antiques game show taking place in glamorous stately homes across Britain.  
Along with his antiques expert Rachel Houston-Holland, Alan will challenge teams of antique and history fans to seek out the rarest – and most valuable – objects on display.
In each episode four teams will battle across three challenges that test their antiques knowledge. Whoever wins each round gets first choice in “The Masterpiece Challenge” a room filled with antiques, one of which is worth more than £10,000. At the end of the show each team reveals what they think is the masterpiece. Whoever chooses the most masterpieces wins the £1000 prize money. 
Seven magnificent country homes will be used throughout the series: Beaulieu in Brockenhurst (home to one of the world’s biggest motor museums), Chiddingstone Castle in the Weald of Kent, Lydiard Park in Wiltshire, Burghley House in Lincolnshire (once visited by Elizabeth 1), the famously haunted Owlpen Manor in the Cotswolds, Avington Park in Hampshire and Hever Castle in Kent (the childhood home of Anne Boleyn).

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, the series will be hosted by Alexander Armstrong - with Jonathan Ross and Frank Skinner as team captains.
Armstrong, who will have a direct line to the viewers at home, will pose questions on everything from “How many affairs are acceptable in a marriage?” to moral dilemmas; “If you saw someone leave £50 in a cash point, what would you do?” and more topical subjects like “Do you think we should have another Scottish Referendum?”.with guests Adil Ray and Angela Barnes.
