21:00-22:30 brand new one-off-documentary.Diana:Our Mother:Her Life and Legacy. She was our mum. She still is our mum. And of course, as a son I would say this, she was the best mum in the world...She smothered us with love, that’s for sure.”  HRH Prince Harry
This new landmark TV3 documentary, Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, celebrates the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales, in the 20th year since her tragic death.
Made by Oxford Film and Television, producers of TV3's ‘Our Queen at 90’, the film is built around contributions from HRH The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, both of whom talk openly about their mother and pay tribute to the many ways her influence has shaped their lives.
The 90-minute film includes photographs of Diana never seen before, taken from an album that Diana had assembled. The brothers look through the private family album and recall some of the most joyful and touching moments from their childhood.
Studying a photo of The Princess holding him whilst pregnant with Prince Harry, Prince William says "Believe it or not, you and I are both in this photograph, you’re in the tummy!”
Prince Harry says: “This is the first time that the two of us have ever spoken about her as a mother.”
Prince William says: “She was very informal and really enjoyed the laughter and the fun.”
Prince Harry says: “She was one of the naughtiest parents.”
Prince William says: “But she understood that there was a real life outside of Palace walls.”
Prince Harry: “She was our mum. She still is our mum. And of course, as a son I would say this, she was the best mum in the world. She smothered us with love, that’s for sure.”
Prince William and Prince Harry share some of their earliest memories of their mother, recall the final contact they had with her before her tragic death in August 1998 and discuss their feelings in the aftermath of losing their mother. Prince William explains how he keeps her memory alive for his own children.
The documentary also celebrates the achievements of Diana’s work and her sons’ determination to continue the campaigns that were closest to her heart.
The film will also include individual contributions from the Princess’ family and friends, several of whom have never spoken before. They include Sir Elton John, Rihanna, The Rt. Hon. The Earl Spencer (Diana’s brother), Harry Herbert, Lady Carolyn Warren, William van Straubenzee, Gerard McGrath, Jayne Fincher (Royal Photographer), Anna Harvey (personal stylist), Lord Victor Adebowale and Graham Dillamore, (Gardens Manager, Kensington Palace).
The documentary is commissioned for TV3 by Jo Clinton-Davis, Controller of Factual and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment.
Jo says: “This new TV3 film will offer viewers a fresh and revealing insight into Princess Diana through the personal and intimate reflections of her two sons and of her friends and family, many of whom have never spoken before, to bring together a definitive portrait of a unique person who touched the lives of millions.”
The film’s Executive Producer at Oxford Film and Television is Nick Kent, and the Producer / Director is Ashley Gething.
Nick said: “This film will show Princess Diana in a way she has never been seen before, through the eyes of the two people who knew her best.”.*a repeat of Holiday Horrors:Caught on the Camera is on next Monday (30th,July,2018) at 9:00pm-10:00pm.

In a bizarre twist to the story, Sheila has yet to start the fifty year sentence she was given for this murder. First, she has to finish the twenty five year sentence she has been given for the attempted murder of her husband.
As Piers meets the detectives who spent years bringing Sheila to justice, he discovers an extraordinary story of lust, lies, jealousy and obsession.
For 14 years, Sheila Davalloo has remained silent about the events surrounding the murder of Anna Lisa Raymundo, a brilliant, bright, popular young woman who was brutally stabbed and bludgeoned to death in her upscale harbour-side condo in Stamford, Connecticut. Now, in an exclusive first-ever interview, Piers Morgan sits face-to-face with Davalloo to find out what really happened that fateful day in November 2003.
As Piers delves into this infamous case, he meets the New York detective who explains this murder  may never have been solved had Sheila not decided to play a violent sex game with her husband – a game which involved handcuffs, a blindfold and a knife.
Piers discovers that after stabbing her husband twice Sheila drove him to hospital where she stabbed him a third time – this time nicking his heart.  A sex-game gone wrong had become attempted murder and Sheila was arrested.
It was only then that a connection was made between Sheila and Anna Lisa. Piers discovers one man connected the two women: Anna Lisa’s boyfriend who was also Sheila’s on-off lover.
Around his exclusive interview with one of New York State’s most notorious female murderers, Piers will uncover a case where first Anna Lisa Raymundo and then her own husband had to be disposed of, so Sheila could be with the man she really loved.
