Julie Roberts lives in Birmingham, where she’s worked in the local chocolate factory for the last 32 years. She’s always known she was adopted. But when as a teenager she found out that her birth mother, Marion, was only 18
when she had Julie, she wanted to know more. After accessing her adoption paperwork, Julie discovered that her father was a married man. Since then, although Julie knows she’s not to blame, she’s felt guilty that somehow she may have ruined her birth mother’s life. Now Julie longs to find Marion, to see what impact this teenage pregnancy had and find out what became of her .
Our second story is on behalf of a man longing to find his birth mother after more than fifty years apart.
Keen biker Marc Wolfe knows little about his birth mother other than that she was Jewish and her one wish was for her son to be adopted into a Jewish family. Marc had a very happy childhood in a close knit Jewish family. But deep down, he has always struggled with feelings of rejection. After the death of his adoptive mother, his feelings intensified and he decided to look for his birth mother. He wants to know whether she cared about him and why she gave him up: did she have any choice? Marc is now searching for answers.
Find out what happens when Long Lost Family takes on these searches.

12:30-13:30 (Repeat) brand new series and last in series and series finale.9/9.Love Your Garden.(Series 7).
Alan and the Team head to Nottingham this week to surprise Inspirational boxing coach Marcellus Baz (41) with not one, but two garden transformations.
After a classically misspent youth – in gangs and a world of petty crime Marcellus found the discipline of boxing and turned his life around. He now dedicates his life to doing the same for today’s teenagers in trouble. Boys and girls facing difficult times are mentored and coached by Marcellus at his Nottingham gym.
The gym building is run down but offers a safe place for the young men and women to meet. The positive work he has done there has attracted support from the likes of Prince Harry and local sporting heroes Jane Torville and Christopher Dean.
Marcellus badly wants to turn the gym’s basement level, narrow outdoor yard into a garden for the kids to learn to grow and cook healthy fruit and vegetables.
So in one of the most unexpected and miraculous transformations of the series Alan and the team turn a dank dingy alley into a beautiful productive kitchen garden.
At the same time, as a thank you for his outstanding commitment to making lives better for the next generation, Alan and the team give the worn out campaigner a restful Moroccan-inspired private garden at home too.
The Love Your Garden team are David Domoney, Francis Tophill, Alan Titchmarsh and Katie Rushworth.
